REUNION - REUNION - REUNION
October 6th, 2018

It was a grand reunion! Many of the old guard were there and enjoyed food, beer, wine and fine weather. Sadly, many weren't there, but were fondly remembered by their old friends and classmates. A highlight of the get-together was Tom Rice in attendance. 97 years old, looking good and running on all eight cylinders! He is looking forward to jumping out of a perfectly good airplane for his hundredth birthday.

The following is a list of the current Reunion Committee members who planned and ramrodded the reunion, their phone numbers and their email addresses. Congratulations to them all, they did a great job!

Back in 2016 I had the good luck to draw the same hunt as I discussed below, and with the same results. Grand time out in the bush though. Here are a couple pictures of the 2016 hunt.

Elk country at around 10'000 feet.

Sorry to have missed the 55th Reunion. I was with you all in spirit, but my body was kicking around the high mountains SW of Tres Piedras up to the north of here hunting elk. Great hunt, but did not see anything much, heard no shots and didn't hear of anyone who got one nearby. Hunting gets harder by the year. Too many people and flocks of ATVs. Elk go for the highest and most inaccesable parts, and can't be gotten to. Here are a couple pictures of where we were:

About 10,000 ft. overlooking Mt. Tusas

Camp at about 8000 ft.

Morning of the fourth day. We got the truck out but had to leave the trailer for later.

I drew a deer tag in the lottery again this year. Had a good hunt again down in the Hillsboro Mining District, which is SW of Truth or Consequences, NM. Wild desert country. There is a selection of photos HERE, for anybody who might be interested.

A while ago Phyllis and I took a run up into the north-central part of New Mexico. Here is a picture of that beautiful country.

North of Regina

It was a great run, the 74 International ran like a clock, weather was great, fishing was terrible. Moffitt, June, 2010

Here is another "Jukebox" site a friend in Arizona sent me. Has some of 58's best. Check it Out. 1958 JuKeBoX

A friend here turned me on to this. Some fine cars, and Bob Mitchum singing Thunder Road at the end. cruzintheavenue.com/CarsWeDrove Hope you dig it----

If you like jewelry, or might be looking for a gift for a friend, drop by my site at www.bruce-moffitt-jewelry.com. and see what I have been doing on the side. I have pictures of some of my work sprinkled around the bottoms of several of the reunion pages, but this site is a more serious excursion. Check it out, and if you see anything you like on the site I will give anyone connected with CV58 a 25% discount. Email me and let me know what you would like to talk about.

For a great look back at the music of the 50's, check out what Mike Kelly sent me: Click here for the Briarcliff Manor High School Class of 1960 Reunion Juke Box--- Enjoy!

I do want to warn everybody that our CV58 website here is rather fragmented, not always up to date and not up to much of any design standards. It is a happy melange freebie that I work on occasionally, and which has no relationship to our past professional work. As to professional work, we dropped out and retired several years ago. Feels good. I have sold the Premiersystems.com website. This site is now up on www.bruce-moffitt-chulavista.com, but the old addresses that you are used to will still get through.

Just for fun, I have added a page I call Rude, Rough Fun at rude, rough fun.html. It has a bit of poetry, ravings and rantings and may accumulate a bit of everything. Don't enter without a bit of an open mind and a decent sense of humor.

Whatever though, let's see what we can do with CV58. Be sure to go by the webconnect page and let me know if you know any addresses I do not have.
